The Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale is rating scale that measures psychiatric symptoms such as depression, anxiety, hallucinations, and unusual behavior. It is given upon admission and discharge to rate a patient’s relative change throughout treatment. North Spring’s patients reported a positive change score of 20.38 for 2018 Q2 on the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale compared to the national comparison group mean of 12.6 for the same period.
The Patient Satisfaction Survey is a self-report measurement tool provided upon discharge. It rates the patient’s satisfaction on a scale of 0 to 5 across 16 scales encompassing all aspects of a patient’s care. With 63% of our discharged patients responding, North Spring’s patients reported Patient Satisfaction scores of 4.94 (out of 5.00) at the time of discharge for 2018 Q2.
