Treatment at North Spring Behavioral Healthcare

North Spring Behavioral Healthcare offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient treatment services for youth ages 7–17. Our 47-acre campus (which has historical ties to the Revolutionary War) is located in bucolic and beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, across from a vineyard and next to a horse farm. Our tranquil, secure setting promotes a positive, nurturing therapeutic environment for the children and adolescents we serve.

We provide unique and highly individualized treatment programs for youth in need of crisis stabilization, residential treatment or outpatient care. Our structured residential setting offers separate treatment programs for children and adolescents, some of which are further separated by gender. We utilize a variety of intervention techniques in our programs, including Mode Deactivation Therapy (MDT), Kazdin’s Parent Management Training (PMT), animal-assisted therapy, special education services and art therapy.

Our goal is to provide services that may enable each patient to return to a healthy, productive role within his or her family, school and community as quickly as possible. To this end, we utilize the least restrictive means of treatment for each patient, and collaborate with community resources and support systems to help ensure continuity of care.

We strive to offer a range of services to our residents and their families, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, consultation, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention and community education. It is our hope that our programs may empower the individuals we serve, giving them a relevant foundation on which to build healthy, productive lives.
