The Apsche Center for Mode Deactivation Therapy
Mode Deactivation Therapy (MDT) is an evidence-based psychotherapeutic technique developed by Dr. Jack Apsche. It is designed to treat the complex system that often leads to conduct problems such as aggression. MDT was created out of working with multi-problem children in real-world clinical settings — the same children who often pose the greatest challenge to the clinician. The Apsche center is a training facility dedicated to teaching MDT assessment and intervention skills to clinicians throughout the country.
