David Winters has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of clinical and administrative capacities over the past 20 years. As a leader, he is strongly committed to the individualization of every aspect of the care we provide and strives to make North Spring a place that encourages each child to use their own strengths to meet their goals. Mr. Winters has an M.B.A. and a master's in psychology.
Jack Apsche, Ed.D

Dr. Apsche received his Doctorate in Psychological Studies and Counseling Psychology at Temple University. He is a licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Virginia. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Child Psychology and Adolescent Clinical Counseling, as well as Cognitive, Behavioral, and Group Psychology. Dr. Apsche is also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider in Virginia.
Dr. Apsche has published numerous articles and book chapters, and is the author of several books, including an adolescent treatment manual. He serves as the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Behavioral Consultation and Therapy and is the Associate Editor of Behavior Analyst Today. Dr. Apsche is on the Editorial Board of eight other journals both online and in print.
Dr. Apsche has years of experience leading the clinical programming of behavioral healthcare facilities. Over the course of his professional life he has developed, implemented and tested his own treatment paradigm - Mode Deactivation Therapy. This model expands upon Cognitive-Behavioral Theory and is focused upon conceptualizing and treating complex adolescents. Robia Fields, M.D.

Dr Fields is a Board Certified Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Medical School in 1989, and completed a five-year residency program in pediatrics, and adult and child psychiatry at the University of Kentucky-Lexington in 1994. Following completion she remained at the University of Kentucky as an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and consultant for the Department of Pediatrics for three years. Special areas of interest include ADHD throughout the life span and Bipolar Disorder.

Steve Seeger has been practicing human resources since 1997, when he moved from hospitality management to corporate-level human resources. In 2009, he transitioned to a residential treatment facility for children in Virginia and brings valuable health care experience to North Spring. Steve earned a Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Richmond, SPHR certification and M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.
Rob Fouche, RN

Rob has been a nurse since 1999 mainly specializing in the field of psychiatric nursing. He began in geriatrics where he worked with Alzheimer’s patients as both an LPN and then as RN supervisor, advanced to adult care as a Charge Nurse in the acute care setting and finally ending up as a staff nurse at North Spring in 2007. He has since obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix while acting as the Infection Control nurse. He took over the Nurse Manager position in March of 2010. Rob also enjoys working with the children and the unique opportunities they provide in teaching them life skills while learning just as much from them along the way.

Bill Gitzen has worked in the healthcare industry for 28 years, with 20 years in behavioral healthcare. As the CFO, Mr. Gitzen oversees four RTC programs in Virginia. Mr. Gitzen holds a bachelor's degree from George Mason University and a master's degree in finance from Marymount University.

Sara Brunetti joined North Spring Behavioral Healthcare in January 2006 and brings an array of experience in healthcare. Her experience consists of Level 1 Trauma centers, Medical/Surgical hospitals and psychiatric residential treatment centers. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration/Healthcare in 2004 and earned her M.B.A. in Healthcare Management in 2007. She has expertise in the revenue cycle from admissions to reimbursement. She offers strong leadership abilities, problem resolution management and stellar customer service. Sara's educational background has assisted her with the psychiatric residential treatment program, and she is able to work with residents and help them obtain a successful discharge from the program.
Diane Creech

Diane Creech has been with North Spring Behavioral Healthcare since January 2008. She came to North Spring with 20 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare industry and has been fortunate to work in business development and a variety of roles including direct care staff both with residential and community-based programs. She has been instrumental in creating an environment to ensure the delivery of quality services to our community partners. Her passion lies in creating strong ties in the communities and building invaluable ongoing relationships. She serves us with integrity and professionalism.
Fredricka Harris

Ms. Fredericka Harris, Director of Education, has a Masters in Teaching with a specialization in learning disabilities and a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. Ms. Harris is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Administration and Leadership in Education. Ms. Harris has a public safety background with experience as a Parole Officer Assistant and a Correctional Officer. Ms Harris worked as a teacher assistant and a tutor for three years. She has worked in the residential setting for four years. Teaching and leadership are her passions.
Kelly Neverson

Kelly Neverson received her Bachelor's in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University. Kelly has been employed at North Spring since 2008, and she brings her experience as a mental health specialist and Medicaid specialist to her current position. Kelly enjoys working with the children and providing them the tools and opportunities to succeed at North Spring and beyond.
Evert Lammers

Mr. Lammers was born in Rotterham, Holland and raised in Utah. He has more than 25 years experience in healthcare plant operations. Mr. Lammers has worked at Holy Cross Hospital, FHP Hospital and Copper Hills YouthCenter. He has been the Director of Plant Operations at North Spring since 2005.
Michael Johnson

Mike studied sociology with a concentration in criminal justice at Virginia State University. Mike has been an employee of North Spring since 1999 and has been fortunate to work in a variety of roles. Mike has gained a multitude of experience as a mental health specialist, a lead technician, milieu specialist, unit coordinator and shift supervisor. Mike brings his leadership abilities and years of experience to his current position as the Administrative Director of Residential Services. Mike works directly with the Clinical Director to ensure programming at North Spring is safe, therapeutic and consistent, while making sure daily operations of the program are facilitated.
