George Frimpong
George Frimpong graduated from Baruch College in New York City with a BBA in Computer Information Systems in 2001. He has been with North Spring BHC since September of 2001. George teaches Mathematics and is licensed as a Special Education Teacher. He is also the Vocational Education Service coordinator. George is very dedicated to his students and strongly believes that every student can achieve excellence regardless of their circumstances. He takes out time to provide one on one instruction with students who need extra attention.

Sheila Hershey
Over the years Ms. Sheila Hershey has worked as a teacher for the Head Start Program, worked in the public school system and managed a child care facility. She also has several years experience in the healthcare field. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Social Studies Education and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Special Education. Ms. Sheila teaches English for grades 6-12.
Cat Thompson
Ms. Cat Thompson is the Testing Coordinator at North Spring. Prior to coming to North Spring, Ms. Cat worked as a preschool teacher and in various summer camp and childcare settings. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and is working towards completing full teacher certification. She has also been involved in the performing arts throughout her life.
Amy Vassar
Ms. Amy Vassar is a Special Ed Teacher who teaches Health and Occupational Studies to middle and high school students. She also teaches a "Paws for Transition" animal vocational class on Tuesdays. In conjunction with this class some of the students have been involved with going to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter every other week to volunteer. MS. Vassar received her BA from the University of Alabama Majored in Criminal Justice, Minored in Spanish. She is currently working on her teacher's licensure with the possibility of getting a Masters in Sped.
Joshua Russell
Joshua Russell earned his A.S. in general Education from Merced Community College in Merced, CA. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Sports Management from Virginia State University. Joshua served as mentor for children through Big Brothers and Sisters throughout college. Joshua's passion is to help the next generation succeed in the areas of fitness and education, and working to combat the rise of childhood obesity through teaching proper health and physical education. His background as an accomplished athlete and his passion for teaching are an asset to the youth at North Spring. Joshua is a certified performance trainer with Russell Fitness Sports and Wellness, and is working towards earning his teaching certification in Physical Education.
David Cole
David Cole earned his B.S. at California University of Pennsylvania in Secondary Education / Mathematics. He is certified in Mathematics and Special Education in the state of Virginia as well as Maryland. He worked in residential schools for 8 years prior to employment at North Spring BHC. Also, he has been employed as a math and special education teacher in the Frederick County Public School System (MD). David has experience teaching mathematics to all grade levels as well as Earth Science and Computers to high school students. He has been with North Spring BHC since July of 2010. He is currently the Elementary School Teacher at North Spring.
Alyssa Cross
Alyssa Cross is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University. She received her Bachelors of Music Education degree in May of 2011 and holds a dual certification in both choral/general and instrumental music. She has been a private vocal and saxophone instructor for middle and high school students, and has been active in numerous church music programs. She is a member of the international women's music and service fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota, and has participated in benefit concerts, service projects and community events. Alyssa is very excited to be making music at North Spring.
Kelsey Struder
Kelsey Struder is a graduate of Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia and has been teaching art to children for the past two years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education and Art Management and holds a Virginia Teaching Certification in the Fine Arts. She has experience working in a prominent Washington, D.C. art gallery as coordinator of special events and installations. She enjoys volunteering as a cheerleading coach for the community and spends her extra time working on her own personal works of art.
