North Spring Educational Center

Vision

Through the North Spring Educational Program, we envision our students growing into well-rounded, fulfilled individuals who live meaningful lives and are forever excited by learning.

Mission Statement

North Spring Educational Center provides a quality education to students with emotional and learning disabilities, while creating a therapeutic environment that promotes physical and emotional safety and enhances academic achievement.

In order to turn our vision into a reality at North Spring, we offer students an education that meets their individual learning needs and provides them new experiences in the core curricular areas as well as Art and Music. Our educational program offers students the support to stretch beyond their perceived limits and discover the joys of learning.

Philosophy Statement

At North Spring it is our belief that each individual has a unique learning style. Our goal is to recognize these unique learning styles and meet the needs of each student on an individual basis.

Our curriculum is centered around a strong belief that we must build character within each student by addressing the issues of morality and responsibility that are necessary to make them positive contributors to society. We think that each student has the right to receive a quality education that meets existing curriculum requirements for the purpose of achieving high school diploma equivalency, and enhancing reading, vocabulary and social skills.
